Mr. Kuo brings both operational and structured finance experience to Hercules. Prior to joining Hercules, he was a co-founder of Lending Rock, Inc., a real estate solutions company, where he was responsible for marketing, customer management and lending syndication and participations relations. Prior to starting Lending Rock, Mr. Kuo was at Lightcross, a venture backed start up that specializes in silicon photonics. At Lightcross, he was instrumental in developing the company’s financial strategy and in launching the company’s first product. Before joining Lightcross, Mr. Kuo was a principal at Comdisco Ventures, where he managed a portfolio of 50 companies and over $250 million in invested capital. Previously, Mr. Kuo was a management consultant at Arthur Anderson where he specialized in distressed companies. Mr. Kuo graduated with honors in Business Administration, from the Haas Business School at the University of California, Berkeley.
